New Year, New You Giveaway - win, win, win!

With the new year comes new opportunities! 2014 could be the year that you change your life forever and finally shed those extra pounds.

It’s time to start your journey to a slimmer, healthier and happier you – and we want to help, by engaging you and keeping you motivated!

That’s why we are launching our New Year, New You Giveaway, asking you to share your experience and motivational tips with us, in exchange for the chance to win £250 of John Lewis vouchers, or one of a whole host of runner up prizes!

What’s it all about?

Every week in January, starting on Monday the 6th, we’ll post a question or call to action on our social media pages that we want you to respond to. For your chance to win, share your thoughts and experiences with us as we work together to make 2014 the year we reach our goal weight – and maintain it!

Who can take part? 

All Diet Chef customers – including anyone who signs up in January!

How do you take part?

Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and make sure you respond to our weekly ‘New Year, New You’ question or call to action, plus share our Facebook page if you are on Facebook.

You don’t have to respond every week if you don’t want to, but feel free to participate as much as you like – and please also feel free to share with your family and friends if you think they might be interested!

You can enter as many times as you like, and your entries / responses can include images if you have nice, relevant / inspirational photos that you want to share.

Where do you post your entry?

You can post your competition responses on the following platforms:

On Facebook
Just post your reply in the comment section under our weekly New Year, New You question / call to action, or post your reply / photo directly on our wall.

On Twitter
Post a tweet, including our handle (@dietchef) and using the hash tag #DietChefNewYou.

On Pinterest
If you are sharing a photo as part of your entry, you can use Pinterest if you prefer it to Facebook / Twitter. Make sure you use the #DietChefNewYou tag, so we can find your entries.

On Instagram
If you are sharing a photo as part of your entry, you can use Instagram if you prefer it to Facebook / Twitter / Pinterest. Make sure you include the #DietChefNewYou tag as well as our Instagram handle (@thedietchef), so we can find your entries.

On Google Plus
You can post your entries (including any photos) on Google Plus as well. Make sure you include the #DietChefNewYou tag in your entry, so we can find your entries.

Why should you take part?

Well, aside from the chance to win a fantastic prize – it’s fun! If we can get lots of people to take part, you will be able to share tips and support each other on your January weight loss drive…who knows, maybe you’ll even make some new friends to add to your social network.

1st Prize
£250 of John Lewis vouchers – one overall winner will be picked.

1st runner up prizes
£50 of Marks & Spencer vouchers – one winner will be picked every week of the giveaway.

Further runner up prizes
A super-cool set of bio scales – two winners will be picked every week during the giveaway.

How will the winner be selected? 

Each week Diet Chef will post a New Year, New You question or call to action, asking social media audiences to enter the giveaway by posting their answers / feedback.

All entries that answer / address the the questions / calls to action will be entered into a weekly draw, and winners will be randomly selected. After the closing date, one overall winner will also be selected at random, from a pool of all the entrants.


Terms and conditions

The giveaway will start on Monday the 6th of January 2014, and the closing date will be Sunday 2nd of February 2014. Winners will be selected and notified in February 2014. Diet Chef has the final say on winners. Prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
